Terms and Conditions for Payment of Advocating and Soliciting Services
Engagement of Services
Clients must sign a formal engagement agreement before any legal services commence.
The scope of work will be clearly defined in the agreement, including court appearances, legal drafting, consultations, etc.
Consultation Fees
Initial consultations may be charged as per the firm's standard hourly rates or fixed fee basis.
Consultation fees are payable at the time of the meeting, unless waived or adjusted against future service charges.
Fee Structure
Fees may be based on hourly rates, flat fees, or percentage-based charges depending on the nature of the case.
A detailed fee schedule will be provided upon request and included in the engagement letter.
Advance Payment / Retainer
A non-refundable retainer (advance fee) must be paid before the commencement of any legal work.
The retainer will be adjusted against future invoices.
Billing and Invoicing
Invoices will be issued periodically (monthly/bi-weekly) or upon completion of significant milestones.
All invoices are due within 7–15 days of issuance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Court and Filing Expenses
Court fees, government levies, documentation charges, and other out-of-pocket expenses are not included in professional fees and are to be reimbursed by the client as incurred.
Mode of Payment
Payments can be made via bank transfer, cheque, UPI, or other approved digital methods.
Cash payments must comply with applicable legal limits and tax regulations.
Non-payment Consequences
Delay or non-payment of fees may result in suspension or termination of services.
The firm reserves the right to take legal action for recovery of dues, including claiming interest and costs.
Refund Policy
Fees once paid are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in writing or where services are not rendered due to firm-side issues.
Confidentiality and Billing Privacy
All client financial information and billing records will be kept confidential and secure.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to payment shall be resolved amicably, failing which the matter shall be subject to arbitration or jurisdiction of courts at [HIGH COURT DELHI].
